New showers and toilets in Callao

Hello friends all over the world,
First of all sorry for not having been in touch with you lately. We have been busy with other commitments and the work in the homes.

Thanks to some of you our friends and donnors the home "El rebanio de Jesus"  has now 3 functioning toilets and 2 showers.

The work with the toilets  is not over yet as you can see from the photos but the most important part is done, the part that we do not see ….the pipes!

The weekly visits of Gilda our Christian psychologist are fruitful, the children enjoy taking part in the games and tests she gives them to asses them in different aspects of their lifes.

We are now working in raising money for the divisions and doors to the showers and toilets, tiles for the walls and the floor of the second floor bathroom and a creation of a new toilet in the first floor. We have the basins but we need one more toilet and the money for the workers and pipes.

We also want to thank you for all your prayers, it is a difficult task we have received but we will not give up. Recently I - Yurika- came back home from a special difficult day and I was crying to God to give me a word of encouragement, Mark 14 came to my mind, I thought what! ...what confort can I find there uhm... Then there it was... so clear: "Abba Father! you can do all things, you can take away this cup of suffering. But do what you want not what I want". There I was in front of a huge challenge(for me at least), claiming to God and suddenly I could see Jesus presented  also for a great challenge....he knew what was coming, he felt that if at all possible His father could take the pain from him but he decided: Do what is best, do your will, my feelings are not to be counted. It really was an encouragement for me. Even Jesus had this moments and He also had to break down and ask for help!

So please keep on praying for all of our kids and the ministry God has called us to do here in Peru!

In His service,
Yurika & Torben
